OmegaTri - Equine Omega 3 Oil Supplement
Pure Blend of Flaxseed, Sunflower, and Olive Oil
OmegaTri™is produced from cold pressed unrefined flaxseed oil, sunflower oil, and olive oil. This blend of purely vegetarian seed oil provides the correct balance of 3:6:9 Omega fatty acids to increase the overall Omega 3 content of the equine diet. OmegaTri™ provides over 50% Linolenic Acid, the Omega 3 fatty acid that is converted into Decosahexaenoic Acid (DHA). The level of Omega 6 from sunflower and Omega 9 from olive oil is much lower - but both are from unrefined, unprocessed sources, which the horse must have in the ration as well. Unrefined oils are much preferred over refined oils like corn and especially canola (rape seed), which has been reported to be toxic and cause respiratory problems.

Omega 3 fatty acids have been clinically proven in several species to be very helpful in:
